Hi,

We have flights booked from PHL to MCO in February. Now it may be that one person cannot go and another wants to go. I have read through the Southwest topics and I understand that I can cancel one person on my reservation now and get credit toward a future flight for any person. Can I simply change the person on the current reservation and keep the flight at the booked price if I do it before the change in January?

Thanks!!

You could call 1-800-I-FLY-SWA and ask. They're really nice on the phone.

You cannot just change a passengers name on the reservation. However, you can cancel that persons part of your reservation and use the credits to purchase a ticket for the other person. You will have to pay the difference in ticket prices. After January, only the person named on the credits can use the credits.
