southwest question for deleting a pax from itinerary...

we booked all one reservation round trip ISP to MCO for august... my mom has opted out of the trip due to health reasons... is there a way to remove one person from a multi-person ressie? we got good fares and i don't want to have to rebook the five of us at a higher cost if i don't have to...

i'm not worried about using the credit because we are traveling again in november and will easily use it then...

I remember having to do that several years ago. I'm sure there is a place on the site to cancel reservations. When all the passengers names come up, I think you check the box of the one you want to cancel. Then you will have that amount for credit later no. If you're not sure about doing it online, you can always call and let them help you.

I don't know if you can do it online; but if you call them, they can split your reservation into two reservations and then cancel the one. It's relatively painless.

I had to do this a couple years ago . . . it was totally painless then.

thanks all... i tried to do it online but it said that the change would be for all pax... and that would not be good! LOL!
