this is the first time since i booked my tickets in february that i have found a price drop from islip. Just got a $90 credit. I'm so psyched!!!
Check your prices!
Yeah...they really dropped the fares the day we go down - also out of ISP (but we got those for free with the SW Visa promo). However, our return flights are still very high and have not come down a penny.
Same here. We paid $139 for our flight home (last year was $89) and within days it went up to well over $200. It's done nothing but go up up up. I'm staying hopeful![]()
Based on your ticker, we go down 2 days after you - so we're also talking about the same timefrime. We're looking to come home Sept 3 (that's when we check out of the Beach Club). The flights are so bad that day, we had to take the early (7:30am) flight on Sept 4 for $163 pp - and crash at an airport hotel. I'm not looking for a credit, I would just like the last flight back to ISP on Sept 3 to come down to $163 so we can switch to that flight and not pay any extra. It's currently $264 (we paid $189 and $218 round-trip the last two years).
We're going Aug 24-Sep 2nd. We got really lucky booking those dates the day they were released by Southwest. Keep an eye on them. I check the flights 3 or 4 times a day. Last year we didn't book our airfare until May and we got flights for $89 each way. they really bounced around and I got lucky because an hour after I booked they went back up. Keep trying

I know this sounds dumb, but how do you get the price adjustment? I did it several years ago and can't remember how I did it.
I have been looking at ISP in September. Last week the low was 141. This wek I am seeing weekends at 104 and midweeks at 89. I guess the price of gas fell![]()
Must have been a one-day sale. The prices for our departure date (Aug 26) went back up this morning. And now, one of the flights for Sept 3 (our return date) is unavailable - so it must be sold out. Not a good sign for fares for that date coming down.
I just booked this morning MCO to Islip on August 30 for $89. I booked our trip down 1 full month ago. I watch daily and finally this morning I got the price I was waiting for.
