Did I get it right?
I didn't check your specific numbers or math, but you have the right plan.

If there is an option for a gift card on the payment site, it would seem logical to apply a gift card amount. Gonna try it? For the sake of the thread??Ok...so I have seen it asked, but no answer.....can you use a southwest gift card to buy these? I went through the process and at the end it gives an option for gift card, but I don't have a southwest number to try it, as it was a generic gift cad box. I was hoping to buy discounted gift cards to save a bit more!
Thank you again. Given that I am heading there on November 1 - do I have to plug that date in for those six day passes when I buy from Southwest or does it matter what dates I use. I saw a reference to "default dates" but I didn't see that specific post. oh and this is going to save us $332 for the four of us for annual passes. Which is amazing.I didn't check your specific numbers or math, but you have the right plan.

It is suggested to use the default populated dates just because they are within 60 days from now and thus you get your code for MDE right away (the following morning after ordering).
Just use those dates. You're fine as you're within 60 days.Thank you (but what i missed is what is the default date?) I was fussing on the website and plugged in November 1 which is actually when I fly down next week and now that is what pops up when I reload the page. Even cleared the cache and it still came back up. agghhh.
thanks again. I realized that after I posted my message that if it lets me plug in Nov. 1, I should be getting the voucher numbers very quickly - which is good! This is such a seems too good to be true thing that I have gotten inside my head about it all.Just use those dates. You're fine as you're within 60 days.
No I don't think so. Southwest and southwest vacations are actually 2 different entities I'm pretty sure and here are the conditions for redeeming a southwest gift card.Ok...so I have seen it asked, but no answer.....can you use a southwest gift card to buy these? Because you have to go to a Ticket Window or Guest Relations to renew your AP, just take your Confirmation info for these tickets and everything will be processed by the CM.ok just went through the whole thread to make sure I wasn't missing anything and have one more question. Given that I am upgrading these to annual passes next week, I'm assuming it's best that i DON'T connect to MDE right away - until I make that transaction to renew our annual passes so there isn't any confusion among the old annual passes and six day hoppers and the upcoming renewal of the dvc annual passes.
I am thinking of buying these tickets for our upcoming trip, but I plan to upgrade to an AP RENEWAL?! Is that okay?
You don't get the 5% off of visa GC with the target red cardSo, in regards to using gc's to buy the tickets at Southwest Vacations, wondering if you could do the following. Use your redcard at Target, and buy a Visa (prepaid?) gift card getting a 5% discount by paying with the redcard, and then use that to buy the tickets at southwest vacations. I have never bought a visa gc but wondering if that would work to get a little more discount, or do you not get the 5% discount when purchasing the visa gc's at Target with your redcard? Or, does the website take paypal, where, if you have it, you could use paypal credit with the no interest for six months, so you could pay over those few months. Not really sure if these things would work, just thinking, lol.
