Southwest now flies to Long Beach

Bummer... Flights from Portland are in the $130s and up

Bummer for those with higher costs. We needed flights for mid-July, and the whole month on SW to SNA was over $100 a ticket, one-way. I was able to get $49 each for our flights.

It probably depends where you're flying from. We'd be flying out of Love Field and there were only 2 flights to choose from, both over $200 for the dates I needed, although cheaper on the return.

I tried to check prices from Sacramento to Long beach, but it won't let me enter Long Beach as a destination. I guess there aren't straight flight there from Sacramento??

They only received 4 daily slots outta LGB and are only flying through Oakland to start. No SMF to OAK connections exist to get ya there.

For me, PDX to SNA is still cheaper for my dates, and direct to boot.
