Southwest Is Open through March

The prices for our flights are crazy.....We are looking for president's week out of Boston or Manchester...

I have 4 rapid rewards and cannot use any of them for the time period we are traveling.

Yeah! Jet blue was cheaper for us!
Glad I booked last week!

Good luck to anyone else!

We're flying out of MCO to STL on 1/15. The prices were higher than I wanted to pay, $150 pp + EBC but considering it is a nonstop flight and leaves at 5:15 on the Sunday before Presidents Day I didn't think it was too bad. Air Tran had cheaper flights but they all had 1 stop and with two preschoolers, it was worth the extra $45 pp to fly nonstop.

:thumbsup2 agreed.
Only nonstop to MCO for us too.

Booked SW from Buffalo Presidents Week and I couldn't be happier! Both non-stop flights getting me in before 10am and leaving at 7pm. $676 round-trip. Yes Air Tran was a bit cheaper but the schedule was better for me for SW!

Booked what we needed for Pres Week, but like a previous poster, I could not use ANY of my 4 standard awards, despite being on when they opened up. Very disappointed.

$676 roundtrip? Just wondering, if you don't mind sharing...
For how many people?
We also fly out of BUF.

I had 6 standard awards and could not use any of them and they expire in March. Ouch! :headache: I'm really done with Southwest. Nearly $700 r/t for 6 people for President's Week EVEN staggaring the dates! I don't think so.

Still no non-stop flights to MCO from DTW. Prices higher than or comparable to AirTran's all-in price (depending on times), but AT has non-stops at times that work.

676 for two people. Jetblue was at around 1300 yesterday Just checked and alot of the Wanna Get Away fares are gone from many return flights . We are going Thursday 2/16 arriving before 10am and returning Sunday 2/26 and our flight leaves MCO at 7pm so its giving us 2 more days. I really didn't think that was bad for Presidents Week all things considered. Both are nonstop flights. I have heard horror stories of how much people pay for that time period.

Ummmm....$700 for 6 people? R/t?:confused3
That's an incredible price! What am missing?

MHT to/from MCO rather disappointing, but we like MHT, so we booked.
R/T for 2 adults on connecting flights in mid-January (only non stop did not work for us at all) $544, including EBCI.
Oh well, it's done.

676 is for 2 people jetblue wanted double that yesterday overall I am happy with the price and schedule I think the days of $99 fares are long overwith folks!!! The schedule is great we get in by 10am and depart at 7pm so it's giving us 2 more park days and I like the nonstop. I have heard horror stories about the ridiculous prices some pay over February Break. Just checked and most of the Wanna Get Away fares are gone. If theres a sale I'll use the credit for Easter!

Yeah I agree. Add both of our 1 way flights together and I paid around $1300 for 4 people departing Jan 6 and returning Jan 15.

Same here. We were looking actually to go to Tampa and there are no reward seats available. How can that be? Something's not right.

We are going to DL for February vacation. Lucky for us, our break is the week after President's. Day. I ended up going with Delta. I have been a Southwest convert but the price was to good to pass up.
