How was Southwest about rescheduling flights during last September's hurricanes and MCO closing?

They ran some extra, unscheduled, flights to get their customers home.

Just be aware that just because you had a nonstop flight scheduled, they won't necessarily add a non-stop to your destination. You may have to fly with a connection to get home.

That being said, Southwest (and pretty much every airline) will do their best to get people out of the path of a hurricane. It may not be the most direct routing, but they'll make every attempt to get people out of the way.

I've got no problems flying whichever route will get me home if I need to get there.
