I hate that southwest doesn't release information for flights very far out in the year. Is there any information about what a flight would have cost last year at a similar time to get some sort of idea how much money they would cost this year? We are trying to decide between going to WDW in Sept. or Dec., but we are doing whichever is cheapest. We are flying 6 people down and back, so flights are a huge part of our budget.... but I have no idea how much flights will be in December right now. When I check how much it will be through other companies, it's definitely more than I want to pay... but southwest is typically cheaper than they are.... :confused3 Anyone out there have help for me??

My airfare costs, with both SW and Jetblue, have continued to increase each year. There is no way to predict what fares will cost in Sept or Dec at this point, even if looking at costs last year.
SW doesn't put out fares more than 6 months in advance....this is a good thing. This way, when you book a flight, you can be pretty assured that the flight will remain the same. Yes, SW has made some changes to flights but nothing even close to what other airlines do when it comes to making changes.
I would decide on what you are willing to pay...then start playing the airfare roulette game...buy now??? wait a week?? wait a month?? Who knows...lets spin the wheel.
