Last week's fare sale lowered my MHT>MCO flight by $30, so I changed it. The return flight was not available at the sale fare.

So I checked this morning and the return flight is now available at sale fare! Yippie! So now my non-stop, round-trip tickets that originally cost me $175 are now only $115! That is the cheapest I have EVER flown to MCO!

Thanks for the tips everyone, I never would have thought to keep checking and then changing internet reservations.

Have you changed it already? Just a word of caution if you have not, make sure that your departing flight is available too, because, you have to cancel the reservation totally to make the departure change. That change itenerary (sp?) does not seem to work for fare drops. Good luck and let us know how you do.

Gail - I did go ahead and make the changes. I did not cancel the reservation, but changed it.

When I did it gave me the option to pick departing or return flight. I only checked the return flight and it left the departing as is.

gigi reported back today that she was also able to now change her flights to get lower fare ( no other changes ) ONLINE

last week she kept getting an error message

and the people she talked to at SWA said you could not use that function if you were just going for lower fares.....

seems maybe they have "fixed" the glitch that was causing the problem

That is good to hear!!! Apparently they fixed the problem.
