Southwest flights thru 10/24 available

Finally! Just checked their site and found out that Southwest is now taking reservations thru Octiber 24th. I've booked mine and away we go!!!!!!

Of course I needed my return flight for Oct 25th. Argh!! Oh well, I booked Song for $145 RT.

Thanks for posting Michellemmj! Now I was able to make my comparison.

Wow, Summerrluvv - that's a great deal on Song. For our dates out of Hartford it is about $250 each RT, $200 each RT on Southwest but the times aren't as good...I'm leaning towards Song.

Hmmm...I might hold out to see if Southwest does a companion deal again...have they been doing those lately? We got a companion deal (free companion) for our trip last fall.

Song is a new airline operated by Delta that flies out of JFK.

Hmm, Well, no Song flights out of Seattle!!!

I'll keep checking for that airline deal of a lifetime. Hopefully southwest extends their dates again soon!

you may want to check again. I noticed rates were "adjusted" between yesterday and today. When I checked for LAX to MCO in mid September, it originally quoted $350 r/t. When I checked back today, it was down to the $200 that I was expecting to see

It looks like the fares for our coast haven't changed, though. I am finding that the per-flight quotes on Song include the taxes and fees and Southwest doesn't include all of the fees...so if I go to the next screen on both sites I get a better apples to apples comparison and Song is only $55 more total for both of us.

oh man! I am still waiting for November our flight out is on the 28 and back on the 4th of Nov!
