Southwest flights-released time?

Wouldn't panic yet...they probably haven't released everything, but don't quote me....;)
Many of my possible slots are showing "sold-out" this morning, minutes after the schedules posted-so I'm thinking they're holding back seats...again.

I am still waiting on some schedules to load. Although they don't say "sold out" they say "More advanced purchase required, look for alternative dates" for the Wanna Get Away Fares, all other fares are loaded for my date. I called SW and they told me it that it could take a couple more hours for everything to load completely. That was an hour ago and I still waiting.

I booked 12/20 flight. Looking to book 12/25 flight home but want one that is an Airtran and it's showing sold out, but Airtran has almost a full flight open on their own website, so maybe it will load later today. If you book Airtran through SW website do you get your bags to fly free like SW or do you pay the fees like Airtran?

Got mine by 7 am. Wondering about the "sold out" flights too, they are all airtran flights so maybe that is the problem. Tomorrow I get to make my adr's and next Monday make DVC ressies for my next trip in April. What a week!

I am debating on whether to book for my November 2-9th trip from Buffalo. The flights I would want would be over $1300 for the 4 of us and we have never paid more than $900. Should I wait?

What type of SW deals are out? We've been watching tickets for a few weeks now and they aren't changing much..we're looking at $1,000 for three of us to fly the 2nd week of Sept...hoping to find something cheaper...any suggestions?

hope so.I checked other dates and it's saying the same so will have to wait a bit longer.

I'm flying from the west coast and my flight is not showing a price for the wanna get away price. we don't have airtrans here.

More "unavailable" fares that available and crazy expensive for our dates [R/T would be $84 less pp on American for a non-stop!] $2200 for 3 R/T from LAX is insane. Even with it being around Christmas......

Not impressed this morning and need to think a bit about waiting for Virgin America to open their dates....

I posted in a different thread, but I called SW and the CSR told me that they were having technical difficulty and hoped to have everything fixed by this afternoon. Keeping my fingers crossed for that and reasonable fares.

Got our flights! PVD-MCO for 4 of us $831! NICE!!

In my excitement I forgot to say...Dec 5-14 round trip!

My understanding is that if you book Airtran flights through the SW web site, the SW policies apply regarding fees including luggage fees.

Very happy -- got three of us out of Buffalo non-stop return Christmas week for just under $300 apiece. I had been expecting something closer to $400.

Did you happen to check AirTran to MCO out of Buffalo? I checked for us for November but either they aren't open yet or they are phasing out the route because there is nothing...

If you booked now and the price went down, SWA will give you a credit. Of course, the credit will only do any good if you plan to fly again in the next year. We are going 11/14-11/22, also out of Buffalo, and I'm struggling with whether to book or not. The price isn't awful but not as low as I was anticipating.

Just booked during lunch break. Pretty much what I needed was available at solid prices. Wanted non-stop, late afternoon going down, afternoon coming up (get one last morning in at MK), and good pricing. This hit on all 3 of those. Hopefully traffic down to Providence isn't too bad for the flight out.

PVD - MCO $97
MCO - PVD $122

I might even get to take a dip in the hot tub and check out the animals on the savanah on arrival night!

Whew. Makes me feel good I booked a month ago with JetBlue. @1200 rt out of Newark for six of us. Southwest out of Philly is over 1600. Yay!!
