Southwest flights from Syracuse?

Has anyone flown Southwest from Syracuse to Orlando? Particularly the direct flights? We have always flown JetBlue but the one direct flight is now a red eye!

I'm interested in this as well, since I fly JetBlue out of Syracuse and had to change to the late-night flight since the early-morning flight now isn't nonstop.

The nonstop JB flight used to be in the afternoon, which also wasn't a wonderful time, but they recently changed it, first to early, early morning and then changed it to evening. I don't consider that a red eye, since it gets into Orlando at 9:30 or so. My solution to this was to go a day early and book my first night at the airport Hyatt. Now I have an extra day at WDW!

But let the Southwest flyers respond. I'd be interested to hear about their experience, although I have a JB cc and always get an extra-room seat, so I'm very very reluctant to change carriers.

I am looking at Feb/Mar 2023 and The direct Jet Blue flight is showing leaving at 8:51 pm and arriving at 11:50 pm. Is this a recent change?

All the Southwest flights I looked at were during the day (direct flights). Thanks for the heads up about them flying out of Syracuse though. That is a game changer. We've driven to Albany and Buffalo in the past to fly with Southwest.

Jet Blue, ugh! They did the same thing in Buffalo. Direct FLIGHT to MCO now in the evening. Switched us a layover in Boston, then MCO. We have done a Southwest direct flight home from MCO to Syracuse. We loved it!

Well, now I went to look at my December flights, however, the JB website isn't working, so I can't find out.

My flight in December leaves SYR at 6:45 p.m. I hope to heck they didn't change it again. I was originally booked on the morning flight.

ETA: I just looked at the flights on JetBlue (not my reservation, which I can't access at the moment) and in December, the 6:45 p.m. flight is still listed. So maybe they made changes for 2023? If so, I am not amused!

Caved and booked Westjet from Toronto to Orlando today for February as I was able to book an unbelievable one day sale price using my Westjet dollars. ReturnTrip is booked direct for DS, DIL, GD And infant GS for $585 CA. Not crazy about them flying from Pearson but could not turn down this deal. Thank you for all the feedback on JetBlue and Southwest. Maybe next year flight times will work out to our favour and they can fly from Syracuse.
