I'm not sure if anyone else is having this issue but I went to check on flights for October from IND and it states no flights are available from here that day. Well, I actually already have a flight on SWA booked on that day so the did exist, they've just disappeared. Oddly enough, when I looked earlier yesterday, one flight was showing up but then went away later.

Anyone else in other cities having the same issue?

We are having some issues with booking AirTran flights on the Southwest website. Some flights can be booked on AirTran (love seat assignments, but need free checked bags) and others can only be booked on Southwest (although it's an AirTran flight). For your missing flights, check both websites.

In some markets Southwest will now offer AirTran flights and vice versa. If you'd buy an AirTran flight on Southwest, Southwest rules apply e.g. bags fly free or if one of you flights is a southwest bags fly free. More markets will be integrated.

For the OP maybe the flights are all booked out for October which is kind of scary.

Yesterday, my nonstop flight from MCO-MHT in July has disappeared. I wondered if it had sold out and that's why it is no longer listed. Time will tell.

I believe Southwest continues to show the flights and just marks "sold out" in the price categories when flights are sold out. The flights I'm looking at are just gone. I'm assuming it is a system-wide glitch but it's been going on for at least 15-20 hours by now. I would think it would be something that would be fixed very quickly - no flights to purchase means no money being made.

I read that they are working on merging flights between southwest and AirTran so there are problems all around this weekend. I am also trying to book MHT-MCO flights for August travel. Last night several of the flights disappeared and this morning I can't even access the book air section of the web site. Let's hope that when they straighten the website out that the flights are less expensive ;)

I went on this morning to see if the flight I wanted was still there and they are doing some maintenance. They must be trying to fix whatever issues they were having.

I just check for Oct flights and SW now only shows 1 non stop to Mco and 1 (1 stop) and all the rest are now Airtran. Yesterday they were all SW flights. OK so you get the free bags with Airtran but can you pick your seat or not? If not than you could be bump because they wouldn't let you pay for a seat, if this is true shame on you SW. A lot of people have been supporting you for a long time and now what?:confused3

I hope this is just a glitch

I posted yesterday on this as well, thought by this morning it would of been taken care of . . .BUT, still showing only 1 non-stop from BDL (hartford) to MCO per day, looks like Monday is the only early morning non-stop, and the rest of the week the only non-stop flight being offered is at 5:55pm . . .:headache: All the rest are Air Tran flights which are multiple stops. There seems to be no evening flights out of MCO that are non-stop as well. The latest being at 12:40pm daily.

If this is going to be the SW norm than I'll be switching to JetBlue.

We still have $100 in SW flight credits, so I'll use that up, then fly home JetBlue.

I checked again today and some of the flights are back for SW,keep them coming SW:cool1:

Maybe the website was partaking of excess amounts of green beer? It is St. Patrick's weekend. LOL!

Both my depart/return flights were missing yesterday, but they are back on today.

I posted that this happened to me yesterday. I called SW to see what was going on since my flight was no longer there. The SW Agent had me on hold for about 10 minutes and then she came back to tell me they were merging all flights with SW this weekend and she didn't know how it would play out but it would be fixed by Monday. I just checked and luckily our flight didn't change (agent said that was a possibility) but our flight is now sold out except the Anytime Fare which is $450 one way.

My October flight from Hartford has disappeared also. My flight back is there. Hoping that it all works out and I can keep a direct flight.

I'm glad to say that my return flight for July MCO-MHT has reappeared! I wasn't worried. I'd rather be stuck in Orlando, than stuck up here (though I may change that statement come July).

My flights came back but the price went up, I checked a day or two later and went back down. We got 4 direct fligjts for $115 fot BUF to MCO each way and I was happy with that flight.

My May SWA flight from DTW to MCO via BNA is missing from the website. However, if I look for SWA from DTW to BNA that flight comes up along with the connection to MCO. My son and DIL were thinking of going with us on the same flight, but we can't book it!

Frustrating.
