Southwest Fares over Thanksgiving Week-- Any Historical Data?

We are looking to book our next WDW trip over Thanksgiving, and with free dining dates rumored, we now have two options of dates. The first would be 11/17-11/24 or 25 or 26 (the 24th is Thanksgiving Day). Or, 11/20 or 11/21-11/28 or 29 (the 28th is the Monday after Thanksgiving). Southwest hasn't released its fares yet, and won't do so until early June, so I basically need to guess which dates would have cheaper fares. Does anyone have any insight? I'm pretty sure the day after Thanksgiving will be pricey, as will that Saturday and Sunday. How pricey is earlier in the week, in general? And how quickly do the fares come down-- will that Monday after Thanksgiving still be pricey-- should we wait until Tuesday? We traveled during these dates once, and I want to say we waited until Tuesday to return b/c the extra day at Disney was cheaper than the difference in airfare! We have a companion pass, and my hubby's fare will be covered by his work (he'll be attending a conference), so we'll only need to buy 2 tickets, but I'd still like to get the best deal possible. We'll be traveling from Houston, if that makes any difference. Thanks for any insight y'all have!

I am traveling for that time frame. Flying Jetblue. My fares weren't too bad, not as high as I thought. We fly on Nov 20, and dh leaves the day after Thanksgiving. I leave much later.
As far as free dining goes....I doubt they will offer it around Thanksgiving dates. I had thought I might arrive on Friday, if free dining was offered. But the dates I saw listed as 'possible dates' weren't around my travel dates.

Free dining is rumored to be offered all the way until 11/21 this year. As long as we arrived by 11/21, we could get it our whole trip (assuming that the rumored dates are correct).

I'm curious about this too - I'm considering arriving on the 26th (Sat after Tgiving). I did a little research and found some articles stating that the Wed before and the Sunday after Tgiving are the most expensive days to fly. Delta has their rates out now and that seems to be the case with them.

Wednesday is always pricey! There's no way I would fly on that day...not to mention the chaos and crowds in the airports!! The Sunday after is usually higher than usual. But...it probably depends on where you're flying out of and into. There was one year I was traveling to WDW, the Monday after T-Day. Figured it was going to be cheaper. I had my hotel all booked for Monday, waiting for fares to open up. Well....the fares came out and it was much cheaper to fly to MCO on Sunday!!!! So, changed my hotel reservation to add Sunday night. My friend was paying for half the DVC studio cost, so the lower fare was still saved us money even after adding that addtl night!!!
