Southwest Fall Deals?!

Does anyone remember if Southwest had any good deals last Fall?

I'm hoping for the $39. each way (from Albany, NY to Orlando!!)

I doubt you'll see 39 each way, but I'd bet money on seeing 54.00 each way come mid-July...

I remember seeing $39 on SW from ALB to MCO in September. Once October hit they went up again to $99 each way and maybe went down to $79 but they filled up real fast.

$39 from Albany?? I doubt very much you'll get anything lower than $79 this year. Travel is up again...I haven't found many deals lately. The lowest we ever got from Long Island was $49, but that was in 2002. Ding! had a $65 flight this morning from ISP to MCO, I'd be happy with that for our next trip!

I would love to find $39 flights from Albany to Orlando this fall as well. Cheapest we found so far for our May trip is $88 each way. Good luck! I hope you find a good deal. Rebecca

We usually fly BDL - MCO and I'm hoping for $49. That's about the best I've seen recently. I'm hoping when they open the schedule I can book at $79 and then get a credit when a special comes out. Not sure what days you're flying, but best chance of those lower fares is to fly on Tues or Wed. usually.

I'm hoping for the same thing from PHL TO MCO (Orlando) I'll take $39 or $54 each way! Their both better than anything I've seen so far!

I've been watching DING! and checking a bunch of different flights everyday! Cheapest so far is $129 each way on AIRTRAN!

It' s kinda scary wondering if the proces will go up more or go down! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the fares on southwest! to be at a nice price!

Christy, howdy neighbor! And I have an Aunt who lives in Ballston Spa - I love that town! Anyway, yes, the rate was from last fall. My only concern about it for this year is that the fuel prices have gone up considerably so I don't know if it will be that cheap again. When are you going? We'll be down there from 10/15-10/23.

I have $49 each way for a trip in June out of Albany. Total r/t is $115 per person and that is worht the two hour drive to Albany. I live minutes away from SYR airport and will fly out of SYR in 12 days , Independance Air for $175 r/t. But I could not find anything cheap for June so off to Albany I go.

Still looking for airfare for Sept and Dec.

Lori-n-NY-My in-laws live in Northern NY and they always travel to Albany to fly, eventhough Syracuse is much closer.
