Southwest Experts: Question for you

Just curious about this...I checked in for a flight on SWA a few days ago. There were three of us on the same reservation number. I checked in at 24 hours, and
I got A19 and the other two got A49 and A50. Just wondering how this can happen. Any knowledgeable people know?

Whoever had A19 changed their flight plans slightly before you checked in.
