If you book early bird check in and then the price comes down on your flight and you rebook the same flight (just at the lower price) do you loose your early bird check in or does it follow you with the new ressie?

Modify your reservation, don't cancel & rebook. When you modify, you keep the same reservation # and your EBCI.
