Southwest Discount or website promo?

I am trying to calculate the money--does anyone have experience with using the southwest rapid rewards discount? It looks like I would save about $20 over the current be a kid promo. Just wondering if anyone knows the cost offhand with the discount? Is there any benefit with buying parking online for 9?

Just got back and used the Rapid Rewards discount. Adult tix were 59.96+tax and children 51.96+tax. For 2 adults and 2 children I paid 238.40 total.

We turned in the tix for the 2nd day free.

They have a promo at the park of pay for a day, get the year (2009) free. So if you were going for more than 2 days (or planning another trip this year), you might want to consider that.

I've never seen online parking option, but it cost us $10/day to park in the "regular" section.

If I am going to use the RW discount, do I just show my card and buy the tix at the gate of SW?

That's all I did. Just had to flash the Rapid Rewards card and they adjusted the price right away.

Just a tip if you're purchasing more than 4 tix... there was a note I saw somewhere that 1 Rapid Rewards card is good for 4 discounted tix. I bought 4 tix so I don't know if it would have been an issue or not.

So it's 20% off both adult and kids tickets?

So $75 adult ticket would become $60
and $65 kids ticket would become $52?

Nope, the Southwest discount is only available when purchasing tickets at the gate.

I did notice that the offer no longer appears on the Southwest website at http://www.southwest.com/rapid_rewards/rr_promotions.html
