About 2 years ago someone gave me a code for southwest and we got a great deal on rates in August. Does anyone have a rate code? :flower:

not that I know of, but they have pretty great rates right now as it is.

Actually, since they partnered up with ATA, ATA has had a fare sale that is actually cheaper than Southwest's prices for the exact same flights.

I just bought tickets for Las Vegas for $165 round trip from Boston, whereas Southwest wanted like $300 and I would have had to go to Providence or Manchester.

I don't think the airfare will get much better than this! Good luck!!!

Oh my! I wish I could go again before June 16th!!! I just checked and tickets for all 5 of us to go would be $577. Wow.

OMG! :hyper: They hardly ever discount like that for Nashville to Orlando. We were driving down in June and then driving to the Keys. But now we are flying down to Orlando and renting a car and driving the rest to the Keys. I'm so siked!!!!! :jumping1: All four of us are flying for $381.60!!!! Still got to rent a car to get to the Keys, but saved all that driving and that's about the amount it would cost us to drive and stay over night on the way down there and possibly back. I hope others see this thread to take advantage. Thanks for the info. :goodvibes

Hey, momx2 Southwest has offered flights from Orlando to Flordia for $39 for the last three years. Usually for the months May to June and August to October. I have had the opportunity to catch this deal a few times. But, this maybe the last time with rising gas prices. keep looking out we may get luuck in august again.

does anyone know what the average sale price is for SW for early December?
TIA

I already had $99 SW fare reserved, but I nabbed that $39 rate from Nashville to Orlando - so now I have a credit to apply to my airfare for our next trip - YAY! Does anyone know if they offer a better rate than $99 for December flights from Nash to Orlando??

We booked SWA for the second week in Dec last year in October. The lowest rate at that time was $39 for the flight down (a Sat) and then $79 for flight home (on a Friday)...

Two weeks before we left SW opened up bargain fares $39 for the flight home and I called and they gave me back the difference.

(note: this only works if you are not switching flights or destinations)

We're going at the same time this year and I can only hope for similar fares. :flower:

That is great to know, in February we got our tickets for 27.00 each way, and I think I got spoiled.. $39 is not bad at all.. I will take that! it would be $468 for all of us to go before taxes, so if it works out that way again it would be super!

we fly out of Buffalo, not sure if that makes a difference or not..?

We nabbed our $98 rt tickets for June with this sale! SouthWest is just starting service out of PIT in May, so this will be our first experience with them. I can't imagine having any problems with anything since I'm just so happy to have saved SO much money! Typically we pay $200, so this is half price for us! :cool1:

forgot to add that we flew from BWI to Orlando.....

I know some cities around us were slightly higher (i think Philly was $49)

Thanks everyone, but we are flying the beginning of August and the rates still are not that cheap yet. Two years ago I received a code for a disboard member who received a post card from southwest. I guess I will have to have patience and keep looking for a deal. :flower2:

I didn't know they usually went down that cheap from Nashville to Orlando. We usually drive, but last October we flew during Fall Break (Columbus Day Weekend time) and didn't get any deals like this. I just soooo happy! :cool1:

LuvDisney14 - I'm looking for a deal from Hartford for August too. I did just book our 6 tickets when SWA opened up their latest dates this week, but I couldn't get the $79 fare on the way to MCO (I want the first flight out in the a.m.) I've gotten $49 each way in the past, so I'll just keep my fingers crossed that my rates will drop and then I'll rebook at the lower fare and save the airline credit for future travel. Once you get a really cheap fare, you get spoiled and want it every trip!

Luckymommyx2.

After reading your post I found that I could have saved $80 on our tickets for our May trip.

I called SWA and while they would not credit my Disney Visa back for the difference, they did give me $80 for our next flight!!!!!

You saved me $80 !!!!!!!!

Thanks :teeth:

You're very welcome! So many Dis'ers have helped me in the past, I'm just glad to be able to help someone in return! We also have a credit since the airfare went down. We now have almost $200 towards our November trip!
