We have already purchased flights for a trip in January. But now we can not go. I know I can change the flights without cost (unless there is a price change) but my question is I bought the tickets in Sept. So the expiry is Sept. I understand that. What I am wondering though is does that mean I have to rebook the flights by Sept or do we have to fly by Sept ?

We are going to rebook for Oct and I wanted to book our flights for then but wasn't sure if we have to fly by the credit expiry or rebook by the expiry.

TIA

You have to book and complete travel within one year of the original purchase.

If you purchased them on say Sept 10 your return flight has to be no later than Sept 9. Or you can wait for the money to expire and call SWA and for $100 per ticket and they will extend the expiration date by 6 months.
