Is there anyway to extend a credit issued by Southwest more than a year? I plan to book my flights when dates are released, and if a Ding comes along I will cancel and have a credit with Southwest. The only problem is that I don't plan on flying with them till a year and 1/2 later, not within the year time frame. Is there a way to keep my credit till then?

I called the 800 number and asked the same question about Southwest credit that was about to expire. She gave me a customer service number and when I called them, they extended my credit by 6 months. I would get the credit and see what I could do with it later.

Thanks for the response. I think this is what I will do. Now we will have to go back to Disney, I wouldn't want to lose my credit.
