Hi All!

The last time SW offered 50,000 bonus points for getting the Chase / SW card I missed it! Ugh!

But...this morning I have seen a handful of websites posting news that the offer is back. However, I don't see the offer on Southwest's website or Chase's website. Of course, all of these other websites have links you can follow to get the offer, but for obvious reasons I'm reluctant to click on them. :confused3 From what I've read, the offer is good on the Rapid Rewards Plus Card (not the Premier one) and you need to spend $2000 in the first 3 months to get the bonus points.

Anybody have any news that the 50,000 offer may be returning? Let's hope!

Thanks!

Have not seen any ads for the 50,000 point bonus as yet. I was able to get this offer for DH earlier this year. (I got the 2 free flights bonus last year for myself) He only had to use the card for the bonus points to post to his RR account, no specific dollar amount or timeframe. So he got gas when it came in and we got 4 1/2 trips to MCO out of it as our flights average only 11,000 per R/T.

I truly love Southwest's RR program. So far, we've gotten 6 free R/T's to Fl. I have one booked in Nov and we still have enough points for 2 more! I get points from my energy supplier, my RR Visa (sad to say a better rate of return than my Disney Visa) and belong to an on-line survey site that pays me in RR points to fill out surveys. All told, I get 1200-1500 points per month. Tht's a free flight every 6 months!!!! :cool1::cool1:

Wow! Sounds like you really get the most out of the program...I should take notes!

(I see you are in Enfield....I live about 1/2 hour away from you!)

a few new CT people here over the last few weeks. Nice to meet you!!

So I assume you also use BDL for traveling. SWA is realy good out of CT. I can usually get a non-stop flight for less than $100 each way (that's 6000 points). My DD (who lives in Kissimmee & works for another major theme park) came for a visit in Sept & I got her R/T flight for $177 (10,620 points). My Nov flight will cost me 10,980 points ($183)

They make it so easy to fly for free, and I can stay with DD "cheap" (I have to load the freezer with "home cooking!"), she gets me into US/IOA free... Now if I could just find a way to get free WDW tickets!!!:thumbsup2

You're not going to see it advertised if it's a special offer just sent to select people. Not sure why you're reluctant to follow a link to the deal if the link was provided by Southwest or Chase.

I got the deal in the mail a few months ago but it only required one purchase, not the $2000 minimum they're requiring you to buy. I think that's a lot. You may want to wait it out to see if a better deal comes your way.
