Southwest Check in

We have never flown SW before. We did not by EBC, so we are planning to check in at our 24 hour mark.
My question is in terms of check in. Do I need anything specific? I know i need our confirmation number, but other than that? and do i have to check in for everyone in our party, or if i just check in the main person(or person who booked the tickets), does that "check in" everyone on the reservation?

All you need is the confirmation number and maybe the last name of the person who made the reservation. If you are all under one reservation then it will check everyone in at once.

Yes, if everyone is on the same confirmation number, you can check everyone in at the same time. Note that it's a two-step process. (There's another button to click past the main page.)

If you have separate confirmation numbers, you will have to check everyone in separately. It's helpful to line up different browser tabs with info pre-filled in, then knock them out in a row.
