Southwest check in when don't have nonstop flight

We can check in tomorrow morning for our Southwest flight to MCO! Yeah! We have a two legged flight. How does the online checkin work? When I check in 24 hours in advance of our first flight will it check me in all the way through to our destination or do i need to check in again 24 hours in advance of the 2nd leg?
