The price of my plane tickets has dropped considerably. I know that I can receive a credit for a future. When I called Southwest, they said I could take care of this online on their site. I tried to do this but was unsure if i was doing this right. Do I go to my account and rebook it? How do I receive the credit? Any help would be appreciated.

It is easy to do. Go to Change travel on the website. Put in your confirmation number and one person on the confirmation number's name. It will pull up the flight you booked. Next it will ask you to pick a new flight. If you want the exact same flight just leave that one in. Next it will bring you to a page listing the difference in price and asking you to confirm you want to switch. It will give you the difference in a credit which I believe you need to use within 6 months. Write the credit amount down and your confirmation # stays the same. When you want to use the credit just put in that confirmation # in the ticketless funds section to pay for your new flight. Hope this helps! Glad you saved some money!
