Southwest buying Frontier?

Just heard on my business news station that Southwest wants to buy Frontier. No Frontier around here, but that should open up more out west from here.

That is the big news story here tonight. Makes me kinda nervous, I like Frontier and I am not a big Southwest fan (how they release the schedule never seems to work for me) and I can't stand United (these are the big three out of Denver). Republic Airways (or Airlines - I can't remember) also put a bid out for Frontier, so now we have to wait and see who wins.

Very interesting. Hopefully it would add routes and business to Southwest so they can hold strong on not charging extra fees.
