Hi All, I was looking to use Magical Express but it doesn't say anything about southwest airlines, can you still use Magical Express if you fly southwest. If anyone has any advice that would be great. Thanks So Much.:goodvibes

I've moved this thread to the Transportation board.

Yes, you can still use Magical Express when flying on Southwest or any other airline. What you can't do, unless you're staying at one of the value resorts, is use the resort check-in service. Unless you're staying at Pop Century or one of the All-Star resorts, you will need to check your luggage at the airport yourself for your return flight home. But ME will still transport you and your luggage for both your arrival and departure flights. :)

Okay...I'm flying SW too and staying at the All Star Movie Resort! So, once we land at MCO, can I just go straight to the Disney center on the first floor and expect them to pick up my luggage? And, on our return, will they pick up our luggage at the hotel and check that in too?

Thanks!!

I'm confused...I think there are several threads here that talk about Southwest now participating with RAC at resorts other than the All Stars or Pop??? e.g. BC, AKL, GF???

Arriving anyone can use DME and have no issues. The issues for luggage transfer arise when departing. However, SW is now a participant in the program and you can use it any resort that uses RAC.

Sort of. When you arrive, yes you can do as you describe. Just make sure you put the yellow tags on your bags before handing them off at your home airport and make sure your arrival time is prior to 10:00 p.m. otherwise, yes, just walk off and go straight to DME checkin.

On your return you will need to bring your bags to the counter in the morning of your return. There are certain time constraints, etc. so you need to know when your flight is departing and if you have more than 3 hours prior to check your bags. If you meet the requirements, then yes, you can bring your bags to the desk and then they will arrange for transfering them to the airport for you.
