Southwest allows pets?

Did you see that Southwest airlines is now allowing small cats and dogs on the plane. They have to be in a carrier that fit under your seat.
My husband is VERY allergic to cats - I am going to be mad if there is a cat close to us. Am I being over sensitive?

What do you guys think?

I used to work for an airline. They don't vacuum between flights. They merely pick up trash and stow tray tables. The planes get a better cleaning at night. If allergies are the problem, then it is best to take the first flight out in the morning (6am or 7am) before the plane has any animals on it.
