SouthWest & AirTran @ PHL - Concourse D & E??

We're flying out of PHL on AirTran, our son and his GF on SouthWest within minutes of us. It appears as if these two carriers use D & E in PHL, is this true? They've flown before, but always with us and I want to make sure they get to where they need to be without running all over the airport. We'll be taking a shuttle together from the Ramada, will we be getting off at the same point or seperately? Thanks for any info offered.

AirTran only flies out of D. Southwest will fly out of D & E. You should be able to find out what gate the date before.

IIRC, the curbside check-in for SWA is at E. There is a connector bridge between D & E but give yourself plenty of time if you plan on getting them settled before heading to your own gate.
