Southwest/AirTran fare sale until Thursday

I have been watching SWA fares for the Fall. The sale is through October 30.

Yeah like pp said, I saw the deal and immediately looked at my dates and my flight is more than what I paid last month for our trip in September.

From what I noticed, it looks like the sale is only impacting the "operated by Airtran" flights.

So...if my fares went down like $70 per person (!), how would I go about rebooking them? Or would I have to change to different flight numbers to avoid the fee??

if your flight has gone down, then I think you just need to call them to get the credit. You wouldn't be rebooking.

Did you book it through AirTran or SWA?

Never mind...found the change link online. Just rebooked the same flight numbers and now have credit, which we will use, I'm sure. Thanks!

ETA: Booked through SW, it's a SW flight, and it's not just the AirTran flights that went down! YAY!

From what I could see, the discounted flights were only for Tuesday and Wednesday travel. Bummer.

Our flight in October was higher than what we paid when they came out and we leave on a Wednesday ......I'm glad that some of you were able to get a great price

Because we have alot of credits we have to use up, I ended up booking all of our flights separately. Well, it always happens that when I book the first flight, the price always jumps up so I don't get that low price again. I ended up waiting and while at work I kept on checking the prices. For one of the flights, the price dropped back down within 2 hours. It then went back up after I purchased 2 more flights. For the other flight (coming home) it hasn't dropped yet.

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up about this so you can keep on checking throughout the day to see if the price drops.
