We are from Toronto, Canada and we are planning to go to Orlando for the last 2 weeks of August.

SOuthwest website shows that Aug 14 on will go on sale on March 23rd.

Any idea what time they normally post their prices ?
Is it right at midnight ?
What are the chances of getting the cheaper prices ... at the beginning of the posting or any other time ?

Lastly, what is the minimum/maximum acceptable price for Buffalo - Orlando fare ?

Thanks

The new fares don't usually appear at midnight. I'm in CST and usually see them post around 9 or 10 am. I have SWA's Ding! application downloaded and they always send a message to that system as soon as the new fares are available.

I always buy my fares on the first day they're available and have never regretted that decision. With the exception of a few minor sales, fares seem to go up over time. The great thing about SWA is that if the fares drop you can rebook your flights and receive a credit that can be used with SWA for one year from the original purchase date.

We have gone to Orlando from Buffalo the last four years and paid $168 to $180 RT per person. I have April flights nonstop for $168! :yay:

Believe it or not, last year was our first trip to Orlando (Disney).

It was also the first time I flew with Southwest.

I bought our tickets Buffalo-Orlando for end of August right on the first day the fares were posted for $59 one way ! And it just kept going up and up and up from then on.

I think Central Time is an hour ahead of our Eastern Standard Time.

Thank you for your response.
