Southwest Airlines - New Dates?

Anyone have any idea when SWA will start booking for flights after Oct 28? And when they do, do they usually extend it like 2-3 months or what? We won't be flying until Feb, but all these DING fares are getting me excited about booking!

Based on my experience with Southwest I doubt you'll be able to book for February any earlier than Sept/Oct. Their schedule is usually never out beyond 4 or 5 months.

lol! This most often asked question. Needs to be stickyed to the top. Southwest doesnt even seem to know when they extend their schdule.

In the 5 years we've been taking family vacations to WDW, I have come to realize that there is absolutely NO rhyme or reason to how SW releases dates! Sometimes they release 3 months at a time, sometimes 1. I even remember once, not too long ago, that they released 1 additional month on a Tuesday, then the very next day...released 2 more! Crazy!

Sshhhhhh, I worked for a big bright airline with the same name for a long time...only management knows for sure when the schedule will open up. What a pain that was for employee's, people were convinced that they knew and just were not telling.
