I am so excited! I just got a credit card refund as well, although the SW woman said this is not typical. I just love the Boards! You guys help me save so much money and make our trips so much more enjoyable!

I was able to get the $49 tickets from Albany to Orlando-FINALLY. Great Deal!

Tomi: Glad you got it covered. SW did mine over the phone even though I made the bookings on-line. I guess it's all in who you get - either that or I sounded totally "clueless"??

Had to share my good news - I had been waiting for $59 fares from AirTrans for our return flight (instead of the "sale" price of $79), well, today is my lucky day!!!! AirTrans put my flight on sale for $49!!!! I guess they are in a fare war with SW???

So, our Sept trip had $68 SW tickets for trip down and now we have $49 AND NOW we have $49 for AirTrans for our return flight. $100 round trip per person is just AWESOME for us!!!!!

Woohoo! I just got $135.40pp RT from Kansas City. I had previously booked at $202pp. I too called the long distance # and they agreed to refund my cc the difference! Woohoo!

So, i did the online credit, but the fellow there gave me their direct customer service number. I called and she instantly credited my amer express, for the amount.

was that # 214-792-4223 (they're closed right now)?
i tired the regular 800#, but she could only give me a credit for future flights. i actually booked my future parents/sister/nephew-in law on a flight for our WDW wedding, and can save them $60 each if i could do the credit. its $49 the way down, but $125 on the way back (they're traveling back on labor day), but ut still works out to be cheaper than what they originally booked.
