Southwest Air - April '05

I've been checking the SWA website daily. Does anyone know when SWA will open up their April dates?

This is always the 20k question with SWA. I had been checking for a Feb date and the 1st week of April. SWA was booking thru 1-14-05 (i think) for ever. On 9-23-04 they opened booking thru whatever it is today, 3-3-05 I think. So, I'm just waiting too.

I waited for what seemed like <i>forever</i> for SWA to release fares beyond January. Then, when they finally do, they only go out to Thursday March 3rd. My return date is Sunday March 6th!! I was soooo bummed!! Also, the prices and choice of flights really are limited. Also a bummer. I'll just keep looking for a little bit longer.

I had the same problem. Leaving 2/27 and returning 3/6. I just got my flight out and not waiting for after the 3rd so I can make my return flight.

Newbie flyer question--
Do they only open up fares on Tuesdays, or should I be looking every morning? I am starting to obsess a little, thinking about the 21 hour car trip from MA that we will be doing if we can't get a decent flight. Jet Blue is 246 one way BOS-MCO, or over 500 RT. HAH!

I'm waiting for May 8th. I booked a one way flight with Airtran for April 30. It was only $79. I need my return flight.

SWA does update their system every Tuesday. However, they have been known to release fares on other days of the week on a whim....once I think they did it twice on the same day! It's pretty much a crapshoot. When I'm in the market for flights, I'm obsessive about checking every day...once in the morning and once in the afternoon. In 4 trips over the past 4 years, I've never paid more than $170 pp rt, nonstop. I only hope I can get a good deal for Feb '05!

The Feb.05 rates are already out. You can only book until March 3 right now. Hopefully they'll come out with the rest of March soon. I'm trying for Easter for my sons, I've already booked mine with Spirit but need SWA for my sons. I really hate waiting and checking everyday but I don't know of any better way.
