I see on Southwest's website that you can check in via a web enabled device (something or other). I'm not very technologically advanced. LOL

I'm wondering how that works. I understand about printing your boarding pass ahead of time using your own computer / printer. What if a person doesn't have either one of those available since we will be staying at a hotel the nite prior to leaving and don't have a printer for our laptop.

TIA -- Sarah

You can print your boarding pass out at the airport. They have kiosks to do just that.

Yes as PP said, you can print it out at the airport, or you can check in with your laptop and go to the concierge desk at your resort and ask them to print it for you. One time, I went to guest services in DHS and had them check me in and print out my boarding passes. They did it with a smile :)

You dont need a printer. The passes can be printed out at the airport, either when you check your luggage or at the automated kiosks. They'll still have you listed in the order you checked in.

Here's the way it works:

At 24 hours before your scheduled flight time, you connect to mobile.southwest.com with your web-enabled cell phone. You will have to enter your confirmation number, first and last name. This checks you in, and at this point you get your boarding pass numbers.

When you arrive at the airport, you can get your bording passes printed ouot for you in one of two places - either when you check your bags, or (if you don't have any bags to check) at one of the automated kiosks in the SWA areas of the terminal. To do this, you will simply re-enter your confirmation number and name, just as you did when you checked in, and your boarding passes will print.
