Hi. Where in southern Ontario can I buy cheap curtains? My window is 103inch wide buy 84inch pluss high. Living in Paris, I would go as far as Hamilton to Kitchener.
Economical - Home Outfitters, Fabricland, Linens & Things
Unique & Economical - Ask at Fabricland for custom drapery designer business cards, if you can find an inexpensive fabric it's not too much to have them sewn.
I'd try the IKEA in Burlington, depending on your decor. If you don't mind something simple, one colour, then there are some really inexpensive window coverings there. I am a big fan of the roman blinds. Also, we live in a home that was built in the early 1800s and it has MASSIVE windows (not sure exact measurements) but we were able to find things there for them!
Covers - Fairway Rd
Blinds R Us - Manitou Dr
BouClair - King St N
Blinds to Go - Sportsworld Drive
And a bunch more at the link below. It may be worth an afternoon. I am actually only about 15 minutes from you, at the Fischer-Hallman and Ottawa st Area of town.
We just moved to Simcoe in April and I found all of my window treatments at Sears either through their catalogue or their special internet deals found daily at the Sears Outlet site....http://www.sears.ca/e/socat/so_home.htm
