In this month's issue of the Southern Living magazine is a "Walt Disney World Vacation Planning: Expert Tips, Tricks & Ideas" section and one tip says you can park for free. I'll not repost the text. Here is the link>http://www.southernliving.com/travel/south-east/walt-disney-world-vacation-planning-ideas-tips-tricks-00417000073299/page7.html?comment%5Buser_name%5D=Bob&comment%5Bbody%5D=It+has+been+our+experience+that+first%3B+this+isn%E2%80%99t+a+nice+thing+to+do.++It+is+bucking+the+system+and+costs+everyone+in+the+long+run+adding+to+driving+up+prices+because+of+lost+revenue.++Second%3B+the+buses+for+the+water+parks+go+to+hotels+not+to+the+other+theme+parks.++Feel+free+to+correct+me+if+I%E2%80%99m+wrong.&x=106&y=20
I don't believe it. :scared1: First advertising to their readers on how to buck the system and I don't believe that it is true. I know there are busses that do go to DTD and TL, and buses to BB (can't remember to where else the BB bus goes) but they don't go to the other four theme parks. Do they?
It has been our experience that first; this isn’t a nice thing to do. It is bucking the system and costs everyone in the long run by helping drive up prices because of lost revenue. Second; the buses for the water parks go to hotels not to the other theme parks. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

Why do people always have to find a way to beat the system? Also, do they realize how long it can take to get from DTD to a theme park?

I'm not going to say which ones, because "beating the system" is just WRONG, but there are some resort buses that go to one of the water parks before heading to one or two theme parks. So, in theory, you could park at a waterpark and grab a bus to a theme park, but I think you'd have to know the system as I believe the destination wording on the outside of the bus changes once it leaves the resort. For example, while picking up at the resort, the wording on the outside has the theme park destination. Before going to the park, it stops at one of the water parks, but as it is making it's way to the water park, it has already changed the wording back to a resort.

If I am in Guest Relations at TL and someone who has obviously not been in the Park asks the best way to get to MK, I will suggest the bus to AKL and change there. I also do not tell them that once TL closes and is clear (about an hour after closing) the buses do not run.
