Southeast Michigan Meet?

Just wondering if anything is planned for a meet anytime soon in southeast Michigan? I know there was one scheduled for last November at 12 Oaks Mall but I wasn't able to make it.

Now that the weather is improving maybe we can get something going. I'd be willing to organize it if someone could offer a few pointers. Thanks!

Hi hope that someone will have a meet in Mich real soon. Didn't know about the one at 12 Oaks until after it was over. DH and I will be going to WDW from Apr30th-May5th and would love to see any Dissers there.

Ooooo lucky you! Going to Disney so soon. I've got to wait until November. Have a wonderful trip - check back - maybe we'll have a meet set up by the time you get home.

That would be great if you could forward this info. I'll look at the calendar and see if I can come up with a date. I'll probably shoot for a Saturday in June or July in the Food Court at 12 Oaks Mall in Novi. Another option would be to do a picnic at a local park. Any ideas, suggestions would be helpful and greatly appreciated.

I have never organized anything before either. But while DH and I were in WDW we met a group and just chatted and had a great time. If there is anything you would like me to do, please let me know. Will be back from WDW around the middle of May.

Thanks for the offer to help. I guess the main thing is "spreading the word". I'll update this thread from time to time as we get closer to our meet date.

If you want to reschedule, that's your choice, I just thought I would let them know of the meet planned and they told me that is the Cedar Point weekend they set up already. If you reschedule, I'll let them know. They are a bunch from the DVC Member Cruise 2006 that I sailed with so that's how I know.

My dad mentioned the meet to me and, at least as of right now, it looks like he, my mom and I can all make it to the meet...
