South of the Border Question

Hi All,
I wasn’t really sure where to post this, but figured that the Transportation Board made sense since there are a lot of drivers on this board. So here goes…

Can anyone give me an estimate of how much the sombrero’s and ponchos cost at South of the Border? DH always wanted one from there when he was younger, but his grandmother would never get him one. So, since we’re driving to WDW this year, we’ll probably stop on the way home and he can check them out.

I have read though that the place is really run down (I haven't been there since the 80s) and the items that are sold are horrible quality. So I’m thinking he’s better off picking something up in EPCOT, but not sure. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I can't remember thst prices but I stop at SOB everytime I drive to FL. That craptabulous place is tradition.

I actually hadn't even thought about calling them!
I called and they informed me that they ponchos start at $25.00 (and up)
