• Retro Gaming
• Studying and Certificatation
• AI Music

I'm trying to lay off the "forbidden" topics but every so often, I blurt out some random fact about one of them and my whole family groans!

When I was young my biggest obsession was WDW. I could go on about that place for hours and eventually turn every conversation toward that topic.

Now in my starting to tarnish, golden years it is mostly about what part of the old body is acting up today. I think it can be said that I don't get out much anymore.

Same… I’ve been here on these boards since merely a week or so before spending the best new years of my life at Disneyland 2024 into 2025…

I don't tend to prattle on repeatedly about specific subjects. I have been known to talk about myself, my experiences, and my opinions in general too much though. My DH, on the other hand, knows my eyes will glaze over if he mentions "heat transfer" and I had a friend in college who talked about Nuclear Fusion vs fission. I've lost contact with her, but for years I've been dying for her to meet my DH - they'd get along!

I do my best to contain myself so I don't annoy anyone, but the things I COULD prattle on about would be books, movies, politics, Disney. My childhood obsessions included memorizing the breed standards for a bunch of horse and dog breeds which is only appreciated in very small, specific crowds.
