We are driving from NJ and normally I plan way in advance, but we had a medical issue and were unsure if we would be able to go. Anyway I call the hotel we normally stay at and they are sold out.

Can anyone suggest a sc hotel close to I95. I don't like to drive more than 5miles off of I95.

Any thoughts would be helpful.

I've stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Lumberton, the Country Inn and Suites in Florence, the Wingate Inn in Florence and come this June I will be staying at thw Comfort Inn(a new hotel) in Lumberton. All (with the exception fo the Comfort Inn because I haven't stayed yet) have been right off 95, not more than 1/2 mile off and good, clean, and safe feeling-all interior corridors as well.

We have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Rock Hill, SC. It's right off of I95 and is in a new community just south of Charlotte, NC. There are lots of nearby restaurants and shopping areas. It's a new hotel, pretty nice.

We generally stay at La Qunita Inn's. They have free breakfast and the rooms are clean. I know there are a few off 95 near Savannah (if you are willing to drive a tiny bit longer..).

Thanks for the feedback. We did decide to stay in Savannah, GA instead. It would be nice to get to Disney the next day in only 5 hours.

I  Savannah! We drive down there for day trips just to take in the scenery. Did you guys find a nice hotel in GA? Hope you have a ball:cheer2:
