This is the 3rd or 4th annual event, and we have a LOT of the Food Channel chefs here for this.:o We have Emeryl, and Rachael Ray, and Alton Brown among a few.:p Its called a "grand tasting." But, it cost a whooping 75.00 a ticket! No, thanks, not for me!  I will stick to the Epcot food and wine fest, thank you.

That's how much the one here in the Twin Cities cost, and we don't have any of those folks. I would say that is a bargain!!

DH & I would each pay $75 to be in the same room with AB. Our neighbors would pay it for Emeril. I think this is less than what the 'Taste of the Springs' costs - and no AB or Emeril!

wow! i agree that $75 is a bargain. i would definately go at that price. we have one here that is more expensive than that and with fewer chefs that i like.

:teeth: My dh would pay double that to get an up close look at Rachel Ray (and it wouldn't be for her culinary skills).

The event with Emeril (don't know the name) is $300 or $350, not $75.

To see CHEF's for goodness sakes!  I will stick to watching them on TV.:o Hey, I cook, wanna pay 300 to see me?:p

The food is probably not Atkins friendly, either :)
