What a thread!
I tried to read all of it, but at page 50 I gave up, I'll try again later.
I started SB on 1/1 and as of today have lost 4.5 pounds. I have gotten some great ideas and advice from pages 1-50!

4.5 pounds is great progress. Keep up the good work, and don't be a stranger around here.

I guess I wasn't!
I've lost 3 lbs so far and am feeling good right now. My dh is on day 9 and he too is doing very well and at last count he had lost 6 lbs (around day 7). I found it tough for him the first week as it was tough figuring out what he could eat. Once I made the decision to do it too, it was better as we are now preparing for both of us. I made a delicious pot of chili from the SBD board and it was sooooo good!! I have been searching for good recipes and now that I feel like I have a few I feel better and don't feel as deprived!
