I know there are like 10000 posts about Bonnet Creek......... trying to figure out the best way to book something there without sitting thru their timeshare presentation.

I've looked at VRBO and AIrBnB.

Any other resources? Is $160 for a 2 bedroom at spring break about what I'm going to pay?

Thanks in advance.

Oh another question: I know I'll pay $20/day to park at Disney. Is there a parking fee at Bonnet Creek?

It really depends on when your spring break is. We are looking at our district spring break, and we will be paying approx 130 / night for a 2 bedroom. That will be 3rd week of April through Ken Price.

And at this point parking is free at WBC.

Here's some places:

ebay, redweek, craigslist orlando, tugbbs, vacation strategy, vacation upgrades, skyauction

The easiest place to start and see prices is ebay. You can look in the completed listings.

We used Farrell Pickering and paid $159 per night this past fall - lowest price we could find (that wasn't a shady eBay operation - some are fine, some have some horror stories). Can't say enough good things about the ease of booking and our whole experience.

We are looking at booking for two nights in February (we are semi-local). Most of the reservations seem to be for a week. Have any of you had success booking shorter stays? We were quoted almost rack rate from Vacation Strategy. Looking from 2/26-2/28. Should I just keep watching eBay?

My understanding about owner bookings is that they need to be a certain number of nights, "turn over" on certain days and maybe some other factors - likely the "host" member of Wyndham vacations would have to book you a whole week and that's why you're receiving a "rack rate" price since you have to pay for nights you're not using. I've watched the Bonnet Creek thread long enough to see several mentions of longer stays requiring two different reservations and that's where I've pieced together this theory, so it may be wrong. It's probably worth asking Vacation Strategy (or another reputable source) why the cost is higher and if there's anything you could do to lower it.

If you're faced with "rack rate" still, I suggest checking Orbitz. I've seen some sales on Wyndham Bonnet Creek and you can often use promo codes to work a little off the price. Good luck!

I didn't realize it would be listed on Orbitz. I had to look for it under WyndhamVR Bonnet Creek. The codes do apply. Thanks for the tip!

We live in Florida and go over often for 2-3 nights. We have had great success with ebay! You cant always get the exact days you want but if you are really flexible with your dates you can usually find something! Just returned and paid $249 for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom deluxe.

I just booked WCB today through VRBO with Michael Sullivan for April of 2017. He was very great at emailing me back almost immediately!

One person on VRBO never responded after 24 hours so VRBO said the deal was cancelled, and my credit card transaction will no longer show as "pending."

I posted this earlier this year...

I recommend that you check Ebay. If you don't find the week or price that you want, try to contact some of the reputable sellers on Ebay directly and see if they have the week available. I am going to Bonnet Creek in May for the 2nd time. Last year I purchased a 4 Bedroom Presidential from Farrell's Vacations (8 days 7 nights) for $1295 on Ebay. I purchased it in January for the week of May 9th - May 16th. Ferrell was extremely professional and helpful.

This year I wanted to purchase a week in May again, but I wanted to do it more than 6 months in advance, so that I could make my dining reservations as early as possible. There were no May weeks available on Ebay, so I contacted numerous sellers including most of the sellers that people recommended in this post and other posts on these boards. What I found was reputable sellers that wanted significantly more money than I paid last year - 4 Bedroom Presidential $2300-$2400 and 3 Bedroom Presidential $1900. I finally found an Ebay seller who would reserve a 4 Bedroom Presidential for me in May for $1279. I am sure that the other sellers mentioned frequently on these boards are very professional and helpful, but for me I just cannot justify paying an extra $1000 for the same room.

I purchased my week this year from Adam at Renting-Resorts. I received my Wyndham confirmation documents 8 weeks before my scheduled date.

I hope this helps. I used these boards numerous times last year to help plan my trip and I found the people on here to be the best resources for Bonnet Creek information anywhere on the Web.

We've used Vacation Strategy twice and are booked for a third trip. They've always had the best price for us. I have never used eBay, though. Paid $174 a night during February vacation for a 2 bed deluxe and going to pay $86 a night this coming April vacation for a 1 bed deluxe. Never a snag, everything went smoothly and the people were helpful.
