We are planning out upcoming trip. It will be my spouse's first trip after recovered from his surgery. I imagine he wouldn't want to eat very much at all and probably perfer soup over heavy meals. Can someone suggestions some good placed that serve soup in each park and at Disney Springs? Thanks.

Most of the restaurant's will offer some kind of soup option, both QS and TS. You might just want to spend some time checking out the menus so you know before you go type thing.

You might want to think about sharing meals. Which will give him something besides soup to go on, with a lot of walking he might need more calories to keep him going.

Here's a couple I can think of at MK, New England Clam chowder, at Columbia Harbour House, there is also a Potpie that's pretty good here, my mom and I split one last year. Tomato soup at Pinocchio Village Haus. I think you can still get chicken noodle at Ray's. While technical a TS the Plaza has a seasonal soup offering.

Another thought is you might want to graze around Epcot each country has something easily sharable but not to filling so that you can try something else in another country.

Ordering appetizers as they main meal might work out to, again easily sharable but not to much for either of you.

Hollywood Brown Derby in HS had an amazing corn chowder last time we were there. I also recall France in WS having a delicious french onion soup.

The one place that comes to mind at Epcot is Chefs de France. I really enjoyed their lobster bisque and they have a free bread service to start the meal so you can snack on the bread too if still hungry.

Be our guest has French onion soup in MK
Coral reef has lobster bisque in Epcot

You can get the smoky portobello mushroom soup at the Territory Lounge in the Wilderness Lodge. Same soup they serve at Artist Pointe, and it is spectacular.

Oh they all sounds great!
I should find out more about sharing meals and restaurants that serve nice appetizers.

I'm a big soup girl. These are mostly Quick Services

MK

Columbia Harbour House (veggie chili)
Be Our Guest (potato/leek, the French onion tastes like a salt lick, IMHO)
Pinocchio's Village Haus (tomato basil)

Epcot
Sunshine Seasons (varies, when they have it I like the pumpkin)
France (lobster bisque)
Japan (udon)

Hollywood Studios
I don't have a QS but I love the tomato soup at Brown Derby

Animal Kingdom
Can't think of one

Disney Springs
Wolfgang Puck Express (butternut squash)

Thanks Jamla, I should save your list so we know where to go!

Agree with @jsmla The French onion soup at BoG is gross...no taste other than dang salt. I know a lot of people claim to love it, but I just can't understand the love.

I see that you're an owner at AKV. The Mara there has soups available from Boma on a regular basis. Their chicken corn chowder soup is outstanding.

Go to mde and search "soup". There are 103 restaurants (Cs and ts) that offer a soup. You can see their menus.

DH says it's the best FO souo he's ever the had, and he's had it in somebody very nice restaurants. Obviously you two are trying it in different days.

I hope you're telling the BOG staff of the problem. They need to know something has gone awry.

We're connoisseurs of the potato leek soup over at Universal’s 3 Broomsticks, and one time it tasted like Kreacher had put smelly socks into the tureen. We told the staff, they said they dumped it, we got a refund AND they brought out different food for us. They were glad to know, from people who had had it when it was good, that it wasn't good that day.

One time at pizzafari my aunt's pizza tasted like a whole salt shaker had been opened on it. I had the same pizza but mine wasn't salty at all. We were thankful to be able to taste test it to know that hers wasn't the norm, and she got it replaced.

The French onion soup at BOG is vegetarian so no beef broth. That's why it doesnt taste as good.

My favorites are the-
Leek Soup at Rose & Crown

& without a doubt the Smokey Portobello at Artist Point (@ WL Resort)-and I actually just did the soup and a salad our last visit here!
