Soup and breakfast at carnation cafe?

Is there any time in the late morning you can go to carnation cafe for breakfast but bump up against lunch menu so you can still get the baked potato soup?

But my family wants breakfast and I want soup. I think they start lunch at 11:50 at carnation cafe at least that was what Disney dining mentioned. I am hoping to sit down At 11:30 or so have family order breakfast and then ask waiter to bring me soup when it's ready. Has anyone done that before?
