I know! My mom gets so freaked out by that sound, but it's so soothing to me. It reminds me of lazy summer mornings.

I know I love it. I spent a good hour just laying in the middle of a field just listening to it.

And I can never see the cicadas but you can always hear them. I think that's cool!

I see them sometimes. Not when they're buzzing or whatever in the trees though. I try to find them, but I never can. I had one floating in my pool once. It was dead, thank goodness, or else it would still be in there. They're sooooo big!
