Let's hope the whole thing was a wake-up call for Mr. Eisner and the Disney board. The recession may be ending and resort travel does seem to be on the increase. It's time to stop cheesing out on the parks (and the disgraceful closing of the highly successful Florida animation team) and get the quality level back up to what we DVCers bought in for.
The Comcast deal may or may not be over, but I don't think this is the end of the battle for Disney. Fasten your seatbelts, we may be in for a bumpy ride.
hi guys. new to the dvc SSR this year. first stay will be in may this year. i have a question about this... does anyone know what affect a buyout would have on the dvc members? i wanna be a DISNEY vaca. club member, not a comcast vaca. club member!
sorry if this has been addressed earlier, i'm feverishly reading trying to catch up!
