First, thank you Tikiman. A few weeks back I asked the question, "Does the murphy bed still exist in the Poly Ambassador suite?" I have since discovered the answer on you updated Tikiman site.

Now for my question: Is it frowned upon to fill a tray of goodies from the concierge lounge and take it back to your room ( which would be back to the Tonga).

We once stayed at the Contempory 14th floor where we returned to our room to eat. It may be my imagination; but I thought the concierge staff's response was a bit cold. Our stay was quite pricy and although I felt it should not be a problem, I still felt a little uncomfortable. Thanks, Lindylou

I think it depends on what you mean by a little tray of goodies. If you are the first one up and you bring back a donut and coffee for your spouse I'm sure there's not problem at all.

However, if they put out a tray of chocolate dipped strawberries and you take the whole tray, of course that would be frowned upon

From the reports I've seen on this board, the concierge folks seem to plan on a little snack for all, but not a lot extra. I think if you take no more than you would otherwise eat in the lounge you should not have a problem.

Enjoy your trip. :sunny:
