Sort of survey..

My kid would never have lasted 10 days without a day (or at least a couple of half-days) "off" at that age, so I would build that in. Maybe something like this:

Day 1 - MK (early start, back at resort by dinner)
Day 2 - AK (full day if everyone can handle it)
Day 3 - lazy resort morning, HS afternoon and evening
Day 4 - Water Park
Day 5 - MK (early start, mid-day break, back for fireworks)
Day 6 - lazy resort morning, Epcot afternoon and evening
Day 7 - AK (short day?)
Day 8 - Epcot (early start, back at resort by dinner)
Day 9 - MK morning, Disney Springs afternoon
Day 10 - Favorites Day! - The intention is to go back to everyone's favorites, even if it means bouncing around. - You'll know earlier in the week what these are, and can watch for ADR or FP+ cancelations that you can snag. If there really isn't anything you want to do, there's always mini-golf or touring resorts to see where you want to stay next time!)

Some of this depends on the time of year, of course - the water parks, whether AK closes early, etc. Also, I'm not really experienced with taking advantage of Park Hoppers, so depending on what ADRs you're interested in, you might want to book a morning park, a mid-day break, then a late-day park. It really depends on the temperament of your group.

It really is interesting to read so many varied responses. As I said at the outset, I think you'll find the answers are all over the map because it's such an incredibly subjective thing. The best answer I'd have is do what you think the kids would like best. Would our kids have been bored with 4-5 days at MK when they were 4 and 6? Only if we did it 4 days straight for 8 hours each. But spacing it out, they never got bored, and still don't. But that's just our kids. We try to make things different every day, so we rotate parks, park hop, do the water parks, do Disney Springs, etc... We'll do each thing several times, but typically not on back to back days. But that's just us and our way. Someone else would probably disagree, and they wouldn't be wrong.

If you're doing TS meals, then I'd guess that would cut down on winging it some, but I can't speak from experience there.

We get 10 day park hoppers on our trips and do parks every day, some days are only partial park days split with pool/relax time, but in total the breakdown usually about:

3 - 3.5 days MK
2.5 - 3 days EP
2 - 2.5 days DHS
1 - 1.5 days AK

thx for the input folks, yes it is only TWO kids, basically I'm asking how many MK days are TOO MUCH? By day 4 at MK will kids feel like saying "MK again?!?" or will they like the feeling of going back?

How many times have your kids watched the same Disney movie over ... and over ... and over ...

You may get tired of it, but they won’t. :duck:

You’ve got hoppers so put together a TS plan and if they do get tired of one of the parks, go where they want and hop for your ADRs. FPs can be changed day of. Plan the hard to get ones earlier in your trip.

As much as I think there's no such thing as too many Disney days...10 park days are a lot for anyone, especially little kids. When we go, we are in FL for 10 or 11 days but only do 4 Disney park days plus 1 Christmas party so more like 5 days in Disney parks. We also may throw in Seaworld and Discovery Cove to mix it up and have several days without parks...time to go to Disney Springs, the outlets or just hang out and swim. The Disney parks can be stressful and a lot of everything going on for little kids. A lot if people, a lot of waiting in line, a lot of getting up early. Don't forget to schedule in some down time!

I’ll make it short and sweet...

10 half days at the parks of your choosing

I’d love to be able to do some rope drop 1/2 days and some late arrival 1/2 days. Makes for a relaxing trip!

We've done 3 days at MK a few times and by the third day we've had enough of it. I barely get through two full days of it anymore.
It's always so mobbed. :crowded:

2.5 MK
2.5 Epcot
2 HS
2 AK
.5 TL
.5 BB
